Numerous art pieces, blend of African and western designs, unique room decorations. Homely ambiance, great staff. Clean and safe swimming pool. Filling breakfast. Clean and tidy premises. Multiple amenities available including a bar, fireplace, and caravan for camping. Memorable stay ensured by welcoming proprietor. Quiet and secure parking. Lovely garden. Polite and helpful staff. The rooms at Lake Victoria Country Home are cozy and inviting, with a homely feel and a touch of rustic charm. The private entrance adds a sense of exclusivity, and I loved the tile/marble floors, giving the room a cool and refreshing vibe. The twin room offers a beautiful view, making waking up in the morning such a pleasure. The beds are comfy and clean, with soft bed linen and fluffy towels to wrap yourself in. I appreciated having a wardrobe in each room, keeping things organized during the stay.
Personally, I found the view from the twin room to be less appealing, but others may still find enjoyment in it.

The swimming pool in the garden was clean and had plenty of long chairs for relaxing. The organization and decoration of the garden were beautiful, with several different seating areas. The rooftop provided a great view of Lake Victoria and was a perfect spot for enjoying a drink or coffee/tea. The living room and TV space were nicely decorated and featured comfortable sofas and chairs. The breakfast, which was included in the price, could be enjoyed anywhere on the property. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic stay, making this a highly recommended and affordable accommodation option. The homely and private atmosphere, along with the gorgeous landscaping and flowers, added to the charm of the place. The blend of African and Western designs, along with unique room decorations, created a welcoming ambiance. The swimming pool was clean and safe, and the breakfast was filling. The premises were kept clean and tidy, and there were various amenities such as a bar, fireplace, and even a caravan for camping. The owner personally welcomed guests and ensured a memorable stay.

After arriving from the airport in the middle of the night, we were pleasantly surprised by the location of the hotel. It was not far from the lake, and we could even see it from the curious garden. the room we stayed in had a view of the lake, which was a nice bonus. the staff provided excellent service, and the breakfasts were enjoyable.
The bathroom lacked a door, which made it less private than we would have liked.
